SYNOPSIS: On December 21, 2012, a cosmic catastrophe alters the fabric of space-time, leaving the Eldirians—beings from an ancient civilization—stranded on Earth and unable to survive while anchored to our time. When they discover that they can prevent themselves from aging by absorbing time from humans, they create a clandestine system of life-time extraction that divides their species into two opposing factions.
Years later, a series of unexplained deaths caused by extreme aging leads Detective Salinas to the Eldirian secret, while Kale, a human-Eldirian hybrid teenager, begins to uncover her true identity—and the price her people are willing to pay to survive. In a world where time can be stolen, stored, and consumed, human existence becomes the most valuable resource.
